Brian is Also Teh Christian Terroris !!!

Heh, it would seem that the rageocity has spread to Indonesia, the self-proclaimed "most-populous Muslim state."

Fresh from the wires is this little declaration of joy. I couldn't possibly hope to put his deep and well-considered position to words, so if you would allow me, I'll just quote this paragon of thought directly below:

GEERT WILDERS IS THE CHRISTIAN TERRORIS !!!

Words of wisdom, folks. Words of wisdom. Peaceful wisdom, at that.

As an aside, these guys look like the same people that came out for the anti-Rushdie day of rage, and for the anti-Israel day of rage, and for the anti-Annapolis day of rage—but without being able to show you the pictures, you'll just have to take my word for it.

Never underestimate the media's power of laziness when it comes to showing the same set of protesters time and time again.

Hmm, there is one other thing worth mentioning here. Consider the following caption, which is typical of those sent across from this event:

A member of a hardline Islamic group attends an anti-Dutch protest in front of the Dutch embassy Monday March 31, 2008 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Scores of police stood guard as about 40 demonstrators from a hardline Muslim group called for the death of a Dutch legislator for producing a film critical of their faith at a protest Monday in the Indonesian capital.(AP Photo/Ed Wray)

It took millions of dollars in Western technological development to bring about the Associated Press and all of the other related wire services.

And now, after all of this advanced technological development, said services have been reduced to transmitting photographs of a group that is a small fraction the size of a small church congregation here in the States.

I guess this is that "progress" my left-leaning friends are always harping about.

Anti-Danish Rage, Indonesian Edition

See? What'd I tell you about news taking a while to travel around the world? Indonesia has finally chimed in on the current Muhammed-printing outbreak in Denmark. Better late than never, right?

I'm not sure about this week, but if this news keeps spreading, we may be up against the bestest "Day of Rage (and puppies)" ever by the week after.

Many thanks to Lawhawk for pointing this little shin-dig out. I've got more photos beyond the fold, as usual! Continue reading »

RAGE BOY SIGHTING!!!!!! Anti-Denmark Day of RAGE; not so worldwide

ISLAMIC RAGE BOY IS HERE!!!!!

Indian protestor Shakeel Bhat (C) shouts anti-Danish slogans during a demonstration in Srinagar on February 15 2008, held to denounce the publication of cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed. Danish police said on February 12, that they had arrested several people suspected of planning to attack one of the cartoonists who drew controversial caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed for Denmark's biggest daily in 2005. I'll be scanning the wires all day—I'm fully expecting a roasted effigy or two, a dozen and a half burnt-to-a-crisp Danish flags, and more misspelled protest signs than one can shake a stick at before today's done. Keep checking back here for updates as the day progresses.

AS A REMINDER—For my more "progressive" readers (I know there's at least two of you out there!), these mindless masses are raging in the streets and burning stuff over this. Given that, what do you suppose their reactions would be to something more like this?

Update: Looks like the "worldwide" part of this protest was pretty much a dud. We heard from Pakistan, Kashmir, and Gaza—three of the most extreme outposts of militant Islam out there—but were met with silence in places like Indonesia, Egypt, and Yemen.

Perhaps the fires of rage aren't at their peak on this little event, and we need another week for the worldwide ummah to hear about the sins of the Danish? Or maybe, they're starting to figure out that the rest of the world isn't really all that enthralled with their continual rage?

Heh, as if! I'm sure we'll be seeing more fires a-burning next week. Hopefully with a reprise of the World-Famous Professional Protester, to boot!

To make up for the lack of "worldwide-edness" of this particular protest, here's a flashback to rage-ier times for you. Back before we even knew Rage Boy for the awesomeness that he is.

Which reminds me.... If any of y'all come up with some good Photoshop material of our little buddy, be sure to post it down in the comments section! Who knows—your parody just might be the winner of the next Offending Rage Boy contest!

Hahaha—The AFP chooses to blame Denmark for all of this "unrest?"

Yeah—What good has that whole "freedom of speech" thing done for the world, anyway?

Danish Protests: Already Getting Started?

Friday's WORLDWIDE DAY OF RAGE is in full swing, and it's complete with Islamic Rage Boy sighting!

When you're already out in the streets burnin' stuff, why stop at just one issue? It would seem that our worldwide protests of RAGE! against the ever-brave Danish newspapers have begun in earnest:

I'm not sure what the Pope has to do with this, but hey—I'm sure they're just doing their best to share the Raaaaage.

As usual, I expect we'll see the most intense rage (evuh!) on Friday, the traditional day of RAGE. We'll have the pictures here, of course, so be sure to keep checking back!

Don't forget to show your sammenhold, folks—If you don't defend your free speech now, you may not have it later!

Happy (Raging) Kashmir Day!

February 5 marks the day that Pakistan celebrates "Kashmir Day," which we're told is a day in which everyone marches in the streets in "solidarity" with the "freedom fighters" in Kashmir and their quest for "independence."

Of course, by "freedom fighters," we mean "terrorists."

Oh, and by "independence," we mean "annexation by Pakistan of a non-Muslim-majority territory." In fact, from what I understand from an Indian friend who grew up in Kashmir, it is some of the most fertile land in all of India—Which, of course, explains why the Islamic supremacist rabble in Pakistan feel so compelled to annex it.

With all of that in mind, let the day's festivities (and RAGE!) begin!

Aww shucks, linkage from The Anchoress? Always a pleasure, ma'am! Continue reading »

Worldwide Anti-Israeli Day of RAGE!

The Muslim world is exploding in a series of protests against the "heartless" Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip, even though (a) the blockade is entirely justified (and largely self-inflicted), and (b) Israel has already chickened out and partially re-opened the borders. Here's a round-up of the raging peacefulness of the international ummah, just for the record. Feel their rage! After all, it is all they have to offer the world.

I'll be rounding up these pictures as the day progresses. There'll undoubtedly be an excess of rage that'll need to be burned through before news of Israel's capitulation puts the kibbosh on these little outbursts of peace and tolerance.

Update: Here's some sheer brilliance on the notion of "humanitarianism," courtesy the ever-eloquent Soccer Dad. Continue reading »

Little (Print) Shop of Horrors

Gee, who would've guessed that George W. Bush was a vampire?

Workers in a print house prepare posters to be used in a Hamas rally this afternoon against the visit of US President George W. Bush to the region, in the Gaza City, Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008. Bush sought new footing Wednesday to pull Israel and the Palestinians toward serious negotiations that would crown his final year as president, as revived peace talks stumbled over land squabbles and fear of violence.
