Always Watching the All-Seeing Eye

Here is a list of all stories which have been formally retracted.

Retractions

"Curses, foiled again!"
On occasion, I don't quite put as much work into a story as I should, or I otherwise get the facts wrong. What can I say? I'm human, too. In the event that something like that happens, I'll be publishing a full retraction in the original article's body, and transferring the retracted article into these pages.

Why do I do that?

I know it sounds backwards, but it seems to me like this is the best way to handle things. People jumping to the article from an external link will immediately see that the story has been retracted, and then if they are curious as to why, they will be able to click on an embedded link, and read the original work. It sure beats a tiny column buried on page A-18 of the paper, doesn't it?

As always, I love hearing your input and comments, so be sure to let me know whatever your thoughts are.
