Idiocy on Film

I'm not even going to give this a chance. We've had nothing but post-modern whinging on the silver screen for the past 15 years, and the world has gotten not a whit more peaceful.

Israeli actors act during the filming of an Israeli movie in Tel Aviv April 25, 2007. A Palestinian suicide bomber is the unlikely star of a new Israeli film billed by its director as an effort to destroy prejudices that fuel conflict in the Middle East. Picture taken April 25, 2007. By the way, if the director were so interested in fighting "prejudice," why isn't he filming inside the Gaza Strip? Wouldn't that do more to "break down" the barriers (or whatever pablum the Left is using these days) than filming in the completely safe Tel Aviv? Continue reading »

Making Every Day a Happy Naksa

It seems that there's always a reason to celebrate -er, make that "protest"- over in the "Palestinian" terror-tories. Today marks the 40th year since the Israeli victory over the Arab forces which surrounded her, intent on her utter destruction. Much like any other event, though, one need not look for any hints of reality in the collection of terror-supporters and useful idiots who showed up to "commemorate" this "great tragedy."

I'll be tracking as many of the pictures of today's "festivities" that I can. The most amusing event that I've seen is when the local Palestinians savages turned on the leftist protesters useful idiots who came to defend them support terrorism, which you can read in full glory over at Carl's place. I'm eagerly awaiting photographs from that little dust-up, but have a sneaking suspicion that the wires will "accidentally" self-censor it.

So until then, we'll just have to enjoy what we've got. May God continue to bless Israel, and may Israel continue to bless God!

Preening leftists overacting as "Palestinians" and "Israeli soldiers."

Selective Outrage Syndrome, Day OF RAGE!

A clear case of projection, if you ask me...
Rumour has it that there's a massive DAY OF ANGER!! (now where have I seen this before?) planned to protest the Israeli "destruction" of the al-Aqsa mosque. I haven't seen any photos of it yet, but considering that today is Friday, the Muslim holy day—and traditionally the day of the largest organized worldwide protests—I expect we'll be seeing quite a bit of action on the wires shortly.

Plenty of "anger" and "rage" are evident in the photographs, following the break. I ask you: Aside from "anger" and "rage," what else is there in the Muslim world?

Update: From what I can tell, there are two separate efforts underway. The primary is a large, "peaceful" protest, with plenty of flag-waving, propaganda posters, and other traditional elements of jihadi misinformation. The secondary seems to be an effort to goad the Israeli police into a firefight using "stone throwers" and other violent elements.

We shall see which side gets the greater coverage...

Previously on Snapped Shot: Selective Outrage Syndrome, Selective Outrage Syndrome, Day 2

Update: Here's the background on why all of this inflamed "protest" is genuinely fake. Thanks to LGF commenter BabbaZee for the link!

Update: In a rather interesting twist, it seems that this is a Palestinian day of RAGE, considering we haven't seen any action on the wires from Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, or any of the other usual hot spots. I'll keep an eye on the wires, of course, but I find it interesting that nothing's come across yet. Continue reading »
