Round-up: Parody images

I've gone through and collected all of the parody Fauxtography pictures I could find. If you have other images you want added to this collection, or your picture is already here and you want your due credit, just let me know.

This one is my personal favorite, brought to us by FreeRepublic's own dead, who is happy to inform us that the internet was invented solely for sarcasm.

Attempted equivalence?

Israeli soldiers stand on their tank with a poster picturing a Jewish Rabbi as troops gather in northern Israel near the Israeli-Lebanon border August 9, 2006. REUTERS/Petr Josek (ISRAEL)

I'm sure the point of this picture is to equate the Israeli "conquerors" with Islamists who carry around large banners of their leaders, as well. Anyone out there know what this is really a picture of? And what the caption says?

Yahoo! headline for today: Israeli Cabinet approves wider offensive

Apparently, the press doesn't find the thousand Katyusha rockets being fired into Israel very offensive. It figures.

Daily photo of the Deity of the Left. Life sure looks all peaceful and happy over in Cuba, with Herr Comandante in charge, doesn't it?

Is that a photographer walking in the background over there?

We are supposed to believe that this is a completely spontaneous demonstration of devotion to Fidel, conveniently placed in front of a block of "luxury" Soviet-style apartments. I'm sure these people are so much better than your average American...

Military-aged men.

I'm not sure what to make of this one. There appear to be two main groups in the picture—and the group on the left doesn't seem to be interested in what's going on towards the right.

More of those EVIL Israelis. Question for all of the photographers out there: How many times have YOU been threatened with DEATH for taking pictures of the IDF? None? I thought so.

Another nameless, faceless Israeli invader. At least the photograph is very beautifully composed...

I'll be posting more photos as they come across the wire, so keep your eyes peeled.

Daily Fodder 8/8/2006

Just thought I'd throw out some pictures that the media hopes will stoke some anguish in our hearts. I don't have attribution information on these shots, but as far as I'm aware, they're all Associated Press. All captions listed here are mine.

Military aged men? At least some of them appear to be...

Be sure that every photograph includes pictures of children playing. That makes it more poignant.

Your average Israeli soldier: Nameless, faceless, and completely dead-set on destruction.

I hear wearing red makes one look more powerful...

More military-aged men?

And even more. One wonders if the victims in the shrouds are fellow combatants? The press isn't likely to tell us, either way.

Always beware Israel's endless supply of black helicopters...

Daily "Republicans are Evil" shot. I'm sure there were no better pictures in this photographer's stack. Sure.

Picking through rubble for that Koran long? If this isn't a swarthy, combatant looking man, I'm the King of England...

And let's not forget our favorite Deity of the Left...

Stretcher alley, Part Deux? The man in the front-right position on the stretcher looks like none other than our Green Helmet Guy—though the angle may make that judgement a bit iffy.

That wraps up our Fodder for today. I look forward to seeing what tomorrow's edition will hold.

Good night, all!

Ok, one last thing: I hope the pictures turn out okay in your web browser. They stink in mine. I'm still working on the layout and graphics for the site, so it'll hopefully be all cleared up here soon.
