Celebrating the Victory of Thugs

Once again, our illustrious press shows up to document, and ultimately to celebrate, a press conference arranged by Hamas. Yeah, we should all be used to it by now, right? But anyway, this one is a real doozie: Check out their victorious spoils of victory, yo:

I'm sure the IDF will truly be unable to function without that cot. Tremble in fear, o ye Zionists! Continue reading »

Israeli Dog Bites Thuggish Man

I think this bunch of pro-Israeli protesters have finally found a way to get the press to take them seriously:

Israeli protesters hold toy guns and wear Kaffiyehs, traditional Muslim headdress, during a demonstration against the release of Palestinian prisoners, in Jerusalem September 25, 2007. Israel will release 87 Palestinian prisoners on Monday, a Prisons Authority spokesman said, a move aimed at bolstering President Mahmoud Abbas ahead of a U.S.-sponsored conference on Palestinian statehood. Word has it that their competitors are somewhat unhappy with this new situation:

"Yes, we decry this abuse of our distinguished status by the Zionist pigs. Oh, and DEATH TO AMERICA!"

Feel free to peruse my Thug Conferences category for more examples of this phenomenon. And while you're doing so, try to imagine the press taking this group as seriously as they take these terrorist thugs.

Al Aqsa Glowing Tribute: A Hamas Reaction

How fortunate for us to have such vaunted news services. Mere hours after their puff-photography of the bloodthirsty killers of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, we plebians are treated to a most balanced reaction from the bloodthirsty killers of Hamas.

Masked Palestinian gunmen from Hamas speak at a press conference criticizing Fatah gunmen in the West Bank who gave up their weapons, in Gaza City, Monday, July 16, 2007. Scores of Fatah militants in the West Bank signed a pledge renouncing attacks against Israel in return for an Israeli promise to stop pursuing them, a Palestinian security official said Sunday, July 15, 2007.(AP Photo/Khalil Hamra)

Of course, it's very fitting that Hamas would mock anyone for wanting to make peace with the Zionist entity. After all, it's not like we expect Hamas to suddenly become peaceful. How odd it is, though, that the Associated Press feels compelled to transmit their mockery world-wide as bona-fide news.

Not Murderous Enough?

Update:

It would seem that, in less than 12 hours, the leader of this new offshoot of Al-Aqsa has been slain by the IDF, making this perhaps the shortest-lived terrorist group in the history of the Middle East.

It would appear that there is now a spinoff of Al-Aqsa Martyr's Brigades, which is itself a spinoff of the supposedly-moderate Fatah organization. It would seem that these discontents, who form the new Abu Amar Martyr's Brigades (very original), are pushing to kill Jews faster than ever.

The press, of course, didn't miss the opportunity to show up and bask in the thugs' glory.

If the smoking doesn't kill him, the IDF surely will!

It's curious to note that the reason given by these thugs for their separation from Al-Aqsa is that, and I quote, "some Al Aqsa gunmen have earned a bad reputation for their involvement in vigilante actions, including extortion."

Terrorist thugs? Involved in extortion? Who woulda thunk it?

In any case, I've got more background of terrorist press conferences, if you're not familiar with the topic. Otherwise, see the extended version of this article for more basking. Continue reading »

Bringing Glory to Thug(ette)s

The press is completely disgracing itself in its continual attempts to support the Intifada. Check out this delightful piece of propaganda:

Palestinian female militants of the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, linked with Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas' secular Fatah party, pose for journalists at Rafah refugee camp, in the southern Gaza Strip. Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas called for a halt to rocket fire and a truce with Israel on Thursday after the army seized 33 senior Hamas figures in the latest crackdown aimed at stopping the Gaza salvos.(AFP/Said Khatib)

It's almost as if we're looking at some twisted version of
Charlie's Mahmud's Angels or something.

The Terrorist-Media Complex

I hate it when someone beats me to this, but credit is due where it's due. Good job on covering this first, Elder! I remain your humble servant, o mighty one!

Is savagery like this really newsworthy? Why is it appropriate for a news organization to be present at these events, transmitting unquestionably the terrorists' hateful propaganda?

Reuters is a disgrace upon the entire West. They have reduced themselves from being a vaunted news organization, to existing as a mere channel for terrorist propaganda. It's almost as if they were a shell of their former selves, isn't it?

I've got more pictures from this particular joke of a "news conference" beyond the fold. If you want background on terrorist press conferences, I've got that, too! Continue reading »

Thuggery and Press Conferences

Another day, another terrorist press conference. You've gotta love how far the press will go to fawn over these thugs.

"Did somebody say Klan?" (Robert Byrd, Democrat)
A handful of photographers sent photographs over the wires of this farce, but of all of them, Reuters is characteristically short on details. Can you guess what Mohammed Salem left out of his captions? I'll be dropping more hints following the break, if you're interested!

Be sure to check out our previous coverage of terrorist press conferences as well. This isn't the first time that the press has gotten the vapours over a group closely resembling the dreaded Ku Klux Klan. Continue reading »
