Prince Charles converted his Aston Martin that he only drives 300 miles a year to burn surplus English wine. The wine is converted into an ethanol mixture.

As part of cutting his carbon footprint, the prince has converted the 38-year-old classic car - a 21st birthday present from the Queen - to run on 100 per cent bioethanol fuel distilled from surplus British wine.

This car runs on 100% ethanol?? Isn't that dangerous to the car's metallic or aluminum parts? My question, is this really a "green" alternative? Consider the following:

You know the saying: "We don't make deals with terrorists."

Even Israel in its early years utterly refused to cave in to terrorists even to the point of conducting massive military raids against terrorists holding hostages. They just would not give the terrorists the inkling of an idea that they could get away taking Israeli hostages.

But, these days are different. These days, Political Correctness runs amok. These days, liberal idealism and pocketbook diplomacy rule. Take the recent action in Israel.

The Israeli government agreed Sunday to free a Lebanese gunman convicted in one of the grisliest attacks in the country's history in exchange for the bodies of two Israeli soldiers killed by Hezbollah guerrillas.

The German-mediated deal was a rare political victory for embattled Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and closed a chapter from Israel's inconclusive war against the Lebanese militant group two years ago.

These were the two Israeli soldiers that whose capture led to the Lebanon War (ummm, skirmish\incident) of 2006.

According to cr(AP), this is a victory for Olmert. Releasing a vile, despicable, reprehensible, violent, deadly, (any more descriptors Cletus?) Hezbollah terrorist in exchange for two dead soldiers, soldier body parts and a report on another airman killed in the crash of his plane in 1986. And, explain to me how this closes a chapter when they are releasing a known, convicted, and admitted terrorist?

It would seem we have another case of an embedded photographer who either promotes or is willingly being used by terrorists to spread terror and butchery.

From Fox News comes a photo and news:

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — A gang of Pakistani militants executed two alleged U.S. spies in front of thousands of cheering supporters Friday as a top U.N. official expressed fears that Pakistani government peace deals with the gunmen were sparking a wave of human rights abuses.

At least 5,000 people gathered by a stream in the Bajur region to watch the executions, which highlighted the power of local Taliban forces in the lawless tribal areas near the Afghan border.

Sounds like a pure lynch-mob to me.

And, who was there to document this savage butchery? Yep, you guessed it. Our favorite organization that likes to silence dissent and promote anti-western and anti-democratic ideals.

Question is, looking at that photo and knowing that the photog was RIGHT THERE in between the gunmen, was the photog there to promote this event or were they willingly used by everyone's enemy, the Taliban, to promote their terror in the western media.

What is sad, is that it makes no difference what the answer to that question is. The clear answer now is that the MSM, especially the cr(AP), willingly promotes terror and terroristic propaganda. And, that seems to be just ok with the world.

My question is, after 7 years, why is the Taliban still alive? Isn't it time to lay waste to that worthless area?

Israel refused on Friday to fully open crossings with the Gaza Strip and Palestinian militants attacked Israel with mortars, further testing an already fragile truce.

Israel refused to open a border in Gaza which caused the "militants" to respond with mortars. And thus, the truce is "tested".

For the third day in a row, Israel prevented food trucks from entering Gaza by closing crossings in retaliation for repeated Palestinian rocket attacks, Israeli army spokesman Peter Lerner said. Later in the day, Palestinian militants fired two mortar shells toward Israel, Israeli police said, but no injuries or damage were reported. It was not immediately clear which militant faction fired the shells.

So, Israel said.... Israel said. So, Israel said that these militants responded with rockets when Israel prevented food trucks from feeding the poor and hungry oppressed Palestinians. I guess the cr(AP) believes the militants more than Israel. And, does it matter what faction did the launching? They are Palestinians (in name) all. And, as there was no damage reported from these attacks, then no harm no foul.

Saudi marriage officiant Dr. Ahmad al-Mu’bi told Lebanese television viewers last week that it’s permissible for girls as young as 1 to marry — as long as sex is postponed.

Al-Mu’bi’s remarkable comments also included an explanation that “there is no minimal age for entering marriage.”

“You can have a marriage contract even with a 1-year-old girl, not to mention a girl of 9, 7 or 8,” he said. “But is the girl ready for sex or not?” What is the appropriate age for sex for the first time? This varies according to environment and tradition,” al-Mu’bi said.

It would seem that according to the mainstream media today, that one of the latest rulings from the US Supreme Court was all about reaffirming the right of ordinary people to only own guns for self-defense.

While self-defense was a major portion of the debate in front the Court, the main argument was whether or not ordinary citizens of this country are allowed to own guns as opposed to regulated militias and government armies.

Take a look at this photo and tell me what the MSM believe was the major crux of the ruling?

Americans can keep guns at home for self-defense, the Supreme Court ruled Thursday in the justices' first-ever pronouncement on the meaning of gun rights under the Second Amendment.

Well, no, not really. First, the ruling was not their "first-ever pronouncement" of guns rights. They made a semi-ruling back in 1791 and in 1939. But that was not a solid ruling to determine, FOR THE LEFT, what the 2nd Amendment really meant. And, from what I read of the ruling, the primary ruling was that people in general, no matter where they are living, have the unbridgeable constitutional right to own a gun. AND self-defense is one of the primary reasons for having that right to own a gun.
