Always Watching the All-Seeing Eye

Doing It For The Starving Children

Don't we all know how loving, caring, compassionate, empathetic and even more than that, FAIR, the U.N. is? Don't we know how the U.N. gets things done. How it has solved world hunger? And that pesky Mid-East thing?

Well, it would seem that once again, the U.N. in its infinite wisdom sought to help, aid and assist the starving and tortured children of the world. How do you ask? How did they accomplish this amazing feat of compassion and generosity?

Through childish art. And no, .... not the cheap kind. (You definitely got to see what this crap looks like. Bold and underline are mine.)

The U.N. Human Rights Council, frequently accused of coddling some of the world's most repressive governments, threw itself a party in Geneva Tuesday that featured the unveiling of a $23 million mural paid for in part with foreign aid funds.

In a ceremony attended by U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Spanish artist Miquel Barcelo told the press that his 16,000-square-foot ceiling artwork reminded him of "an image of the world dripping toward the sky" — but it reminded critics of money slipping out of relief coffers.

"In Spain there's a controversy because they took money out of the foreign aid budget — took money from starving children in Africa — and spent it on colorful stalactites," said Hillel Neuer, executive director of U.N. Watch.

And of course, you peons are just incapable of seeing the connection between jet-sprayed paste and cardboard and feeding the world. Moon reminds us of the U.N.'s greatness:

Ban himself praised the piece and thanked Barcelo for putting his "unique talents to work in the service of the world."

But, be happy that this is the limit of the expenditure.

The artwork will soar above the Human Rights Council's chambers at U.N.'s European headquarters in Geneva, which may soon undergo a $1 billion renovation — but only after a $1.9 billion facelift of the U.N.'s New York offices is completed. [Ed: That equals $3 BILLION for just remodeling!! ]

At least they are doing it for the starving tortured children. Right?

Something Else Obama Will CHANGE

.... and not for the better. Remember his promises to open the borders and pursue an amnesty for illegals plan??

Well, as we have all come to realize, we don't need Obama in office to have a nation weak on immigration enforcement. Need proof? Here ya go.

Federal immigration officials allowed scores of violent criminals — some ordered deported decades ago — to walk away from Harris County Jail despite the inmates' admission to local authorities that they were in the country illegally, a Houston Chronicle investigation found.

A review of thousands of criminal and immigration records shows that Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials didn't file the paperwork to detain roughly 75 percent of the more than 3,500 inmates who told jailers during the booking process that they were in the U.S. illegally.

Although most of the inmates released from custody were accused of minor crimes, hundreds of convicted felons — including child molesters, rapists and drug dealers ...

And that is just in the 8 months since June 2007 in one county!!

Two More Down

Ok, relax. Don't worry. I am not going to show you the photo on the front page.

But, I will link you to Elder of Ziyon's site. He found a photo on a anti-Israeli news site where they lamented the loss of martyrs. No, not DMartyr.

Well, they called them martyrs but we all know them as ... rocket-bait.

Be warned, ....

NBC Showing How To Be Green

NBC is once again showing all of the world how to be green this month. On this past Sunday Night Football show, Meredith Viera was given a highlight spot during the halftime show. How did she spend the time informing us about how GREEN they are? Or, how green we should be instead.

To celebrate GREEN this week, NBC goes to ends of the earth. Literally! They transport tons of materials, people and burn tons of carbon to highlight how green they are. Meredith Viera is now in Sydney, Australia while Al Roker was in GreenIceland. Meredith stated, authoritatively, that if Iceland's glaciers melted, oceans would rise 200 feet!!!

OMG. RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!

Money Quote:
I could say that we are throwing cold water on to people's faces, but we don't want to waste the water.

You may be asking yourself:
What is this "green month" about? I've seen a lot of green talk from the tv of late.

Damned Recession Making People Spend More

Huh? Something's off here.

Either there is a recession leading people to curtail spending or people still have extra money in their pockets. Which is it?

You'll note, the top 15 grossed $146,076,000. That is nearly $150 MILLION DOLLARS in 2 days (all of Sunday's data not in)

I think we need another Stimulus Package, don't you?

Is This Nation Full Of Idiots?

You know, I have not been a fan of the people who can cast their blood-bought vote for Al Franken as their senator. He is dangerous, vile, and an utterly despicable human being. Let alone a huge liberal. Half the people of Minnesota voted for that goof. He was only a Hollywood actor and a failed radio voice on a failed radio network. How can those people really believe that a person with this little experience could effectively lead.

Never mind. Answer: Obama

But, I can now top that. And note that I am not afraid to point this out.

Half of the people of Alaska have put their trust and their votes for Sen Ted Stevens, the corrupt and convicted LONG TIME senator.

Stevens was convicted on October 27 of seven counts of lying on Senate disclosure forms by failing to report more than $250,000 in home improvements and other gifts from an oil executive. He faces up to five years in prison on each count.

Rick, I know this must piss you off.

State Republicans urged supporters to vote for Stevens despite the conviction and the possibility of his ejection from the Senate, setting up an opportunity for a different Republican to take the seat by special election.

People in this day and time must truly not care for the things that matter. They must not care about honesty, rule of law, fair play and working for the people who voted for them. They must not care about the associations of the people they vote for. We have a number of examples in just recent history about people convicted of one thing or another and have gotten re-elected to the office that made them rich. I just can't explain it.

Never mind. Answer: Obama

Republican Party: Party Of White Males?

Kyle Drennen has an excellent piece on NewsBusters.org about how some members of the media covered Alaska's governor, Gov Sarah Palin, appearance and speech at the Republican Governors Association conference in Florida.

I would like you to wander over to his post and read it as it is a great dissection of what true idiots of the media are capable of writing. But, I would like to take a piece of his article and expand on it a bit.

Open News Blog

Let me start this off by pointing you to a few tid-bits that have come out today.

This country really is racist. Even before he takes the official presidential office, not just the official "Office of the President-Elect", this country already wants him taken out.

Obama and his minions are already taking out those who don't fit the proper mold.

Meanwhile, Bush moves even further toward Socialism in order to "fit in" with the enemies.

And I now present you with a view of how Obama will rule this nation of Socialist-loving idiots (or was that idiot-loving Socialists?)

A Jew, A Black, And A Socialist Walk Into A Bar...

Nope. It's not the start to a tiresome joke.

It's a puzzle. Who is it?

Proof Positive That Fox News Is Not All Conservative

Ace finds proof that Fox News Channel is not fully comprised of people who think RIGHT-LY.

Shep has lost all semblance of credibility since his Hurricane Katrina on-air explosion of lies.

How Far Will Gov't Takeover Of Private Companies Go?

This far...

Executives with GM, Ford and Chrysler LLC and the president of the United Auto Workers union pressed Pelosi and Reid to provide an immediate $25 billion loan to keep the companies operating and a separate $25 billion to help cover future health care obligations for retirees and their dependents. [Ed: and their dependents??? They want your tax money to pay their health care costs that they agreed to pay to the unions!]

Pelosi's statement did not specify the size of the aid package. She has tasked Rep. Barney Frank, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, to draft legislation and a companion effort is under way in the Senate.

Sen. Carl Levin, a Michigan Democrat, said lawmakers from his state are crafting legislation that would allow the auto industry to receive $25 billion in loans under the $700 billion bailout program. Levin said Reid told him that a rescue plan to automakers could be a separate bill or could be included in legislation to extend unemployment benefits to workers.

Didn't they already extend unemployment benefits with the "aid for the financial sector" bill? How many years of unemployment are people getting now? Several years ago it was 6 months.

Let's hear from the horse's mouth.

Who Voted For Obama Anyway?

Well, half the country it would seem anyway. Sort of at least.

We had over 124 million people casting a vote for president. Obama received 53% of the overall popular vote. So, thus, he attained the majority of personal votes. But, thankfully, we have never held a presidential election based on popular vote.

Think on that for a moment. Barack Hussein Obama was cast as the next coming savior of America. At least according to the mainstream media and the democrats. He was hailed up and down. He was even declared the winner of the race a week or two before the election. His flaws were glossed over as something unworthy to be even discussed. But.....

But, he only got 53% of the total vote!! And....

Conservatives turned out in a lower percentage this election than the last. So, shouldn't Obama have won the election by an even larger margin?

The Company You Keep!

The good ol' fine folks (who just can't seem to put down their guns) over at Red County have posted a great image. Take a look:

These are not the people I thought I knew!

Change You Can Pay For

With this downturn in the economy, you might not be buying as many things as you would ordinarily. Some parts of this country are currently experiencing what is called a recession. You may not be in the market to be spending lots of money lately. But, according to Congress, that is the very reason this country is in the crapper. You know, in times past during hard economic times, some businesses may have had to lay off some workers or even close its doors.

But, now that we have elected The One, all that will change. We no longer have to worry about those silly and frustrating economic swings.
