U.S. Senator John McCain today issued the following statement on Cinco de Mayo as his campaign announced several new Spanish efforts:

"Cinco de Mayo commemorates an important moment in the history of Mexico's path to freedom. On this day in 1862, a small group of Mexican troops overcame overwhelming force to win the Battle of Puebla. Today, we join together to remember the sacrifice that these Mexican patriots endured, as well as the struggles of all those around the world striving for freedom. We recognize as well the important friendship that exists between our country and Mexico, and celebrate the many contributions Mexican-Americans have made to our society, culture, security and economy."

The Cinco de Mayo statement can now also be found on the Spanish section of the official campaign website at http://espanol.johnmccain.com, which the campaign launched today. This part of the website will feature regular updates in Spanish throughout the election.

Finally, as part of his commitment to talking with all Americans during this presidential campaign, the McCain presidential campaign announced that John McCain will attend the La Raza Annual Convention in San Diego...

La Raza Earmarked $10 Million In Latest Federal Housing Bill

It never fails, there is always some politician trying to sneak money to La Raza and other open border lobby groups in bills. The latest is the Federal Housing Bill which earmarks $10 million per year for "the race". And people wonder why illegal immigration is a problem in this country? It is no surprise, because politicians want it that way.

There is also a YouTube video of Sen. Lindsay Graham (party of McCain) calling illegals, "workers" and that the American idealism belongs to the planet and not to one group of people.

It seems that global warming and its effects are real. You doubt me? Just take a look at this sad deadly story from WCBSTV. 36 people shot and 2 have been stabbed because the globe is getting warmer and warmer.

Chicago police say 36 people were shot and two people were stabbed over the weekend; nine of those victims died. Authorities said that, although that is a large number of violent crimes for such a short time span, it is not unusual as the weather gets warmer.

Ald. Isaac Carothers (29th) represents the Austin neighborhood. Like the police, he believes one reason for the rash of violence this weekend is warmer weather. And because he fears a long and violent hot summer, he wants more police in his neighborhood and other hot spots.

hmmm, so, are these violent outbreaks the result of warming or from the fear of global warming? So, wonder what this means for when ACTUAL summer temps start to come in? I mean, this is just the start of spring, right? Temps this year and last year have actually been cooler than predicted. What, temperatures may have hit a high of 80F degrees at most by this time of year? I wonder how this compares to Phoenix and their murder rates? Is Fairbanks, AK is nothing but a hug-fest?

But, do you think the police are any way concerned with shooting of 36 people and the death of 9?

Police admit that three dozen shootings in one weekend is a lot, but through the end of March in Chicago, violent crime was down.

As we have seen in relation to Denmark, it would seem that using a pen to either write or draw Islam's Muhammed is worthy of death, destruction, hate, and a little screaming.

However, should you actually use a sword or gun on a Muhammed, ....... that is perfectly okie dokie !!!

Heck, kill 60 of them. No one seems to care about that.

I don't know if you guys know this or not. I had not heard this until I started listening to the Jeremiah Wright Press Club video.

At about 9:30 into this video he is asked if he thinks that Jesus is the only way to Heaven or is Islam also a viable way to salvation?

Ok, I think i have changed my mind about the illegal immigration thingy. I mean, after seeing this protester marching in the L.A May Day protest for illegal rights, and seeing her succinctly put (and thought provoking) poster, I have changed my mind.

Take a look over at Ringo's blog and see how, who and why the May Day protests in L.A this year. I especially like the pro-American, pro-capitalism, pro-Israel, pro-war on terror, pro-law mythos behind the whole event.

(cough, cough.. gag.. cough.. ahem)

I especially like the many uses of electrical tape. (though, spelling correctly is not one of them). Am glad to know that we are the new Israeli-like oppressors now.
