Assud the Bunny Submits to Sharia Law

From the land of even more peace, love, and tolerance comes this wonderful multi-cultural celebration of the Religion of Peace.

TOLERANCE!

It would seem that Assud the Bunny, notorious Palestinian hatemonger PEACEMAKER, has fallen prey to Satan's leadings, and has unlawfully stolen some presumed terrorist's PEACE LOVER'S money. Continue reading »

Happy "Punch a Hippie" Day

In everyday life, it's always an intense joy when irony rears its awe-inspiring head:

Five members of the “Rainbow Family” — a loose-knit band of hippies that preaches love, tolerance and peace and is best known for its large gatherings every July — were arrested Tuesday night by Boulder County sheriff’s deputies after a violent brawl broke out at the group’s campsite near Ward.

...

When deputies arrived, witnesses reported that one man, a Nederland resident aged 34 or 35, was hit in the back of the head multiple times with a shovel and possibly stabbed in the neck during the fight...

Love, tolerance, and peace. With a shovel.

A peaceful, tolerant shovel, one hopes.

After all, nothing is more tragic than a shovel that has been raised into a life of intolerance.

U.N. Resolution Would Make Defaming Islam A Crime

...But would that apply to Islamic terrorists whom "moderate" Muslims claim have hijacked the so-called 'religion of peace'? How about a resolution that would make state-sponsored, religiously motivated terrorism a crime?

Read more about the proposed resolution HERE.

The “defamation of religion” resolutions establish as the primary focus and concern the protection of ideas and religions generally, rather than protecting the rights of individuals to practice their religion, which is the chief purpose of international religious freedom law. Furthermore, “defamation of religion” replaces the existing objective criterion of limitations on speech where there is an intent to incite hatred or violence against religious believers with a subjective criterion that considers whether the religion or its believers feel offended by the speech.

Around the world, Christians are being increasingly targeted, and even persecuted, for their religious beliefs. Now, one of the largest organizations in the United Nations is pushing to make a bad situation even worse by promoting anti-Christian bigotry wrapped in the guise of a U.N. resolution called “Combating Defamation of Religions.” We must put an immediate end to this most recent, dangerous attack on faith that attempts to criminalize Christianity.

Infidels Might Disagree...

A Washington D.C. Church, in a most dhimmi fashion, has opened its doors to Friday afternoon Muslim prayers:

WASHINGTON -- Muslims are required to say their Friday afternoon prayers, called Jumu'ah, in a congregation or community. But even in major cities, mosques can be hard to find.

So a suburban Washington mosque organized a group prayer in an unlikely place: the Episcopalian Church of the Epiphany in downtown D.C. The church welcomes more than one hundred Muslim men--and a few Muslim women--every Friday afternoon.

"It was much easier for me to come here to pray than to go all the way to the Islamic center on Mass Ave," said Adama Ndao who used to travel up to two hours to say his Friday prayers. "It saves me a lot of time."

"I feel much more satisfied to be able to say it in congregation," said A.S.N. Jahangir. "When you practice your religion, you lead a more decent life, a more honest life, a more scrupulous life."

Um...yeah. We've seen what sort of life practicing Islam can lead...

Ahh, Diversity: State Department's 2009 Churches of America Calendar [BUMPED]

Bumped/Updated

As of right now (10PM in the Eastern time zone), the web offering for "Mosques of America" has been pulled, instead sending readers to the following page:

"You need to login to access this page." (Click to zoom)

What? Do you cretins "public servants" over in the State Department get all nervous when We, The People actually notice what you're up to?

By the People, for the People Muslims, indeed.

Update 17 Jul: Thanks to the ever-vigilant Mr. Robert Spencer for getting a screencap of the site before it was yanked!

As of this morning, Barry Lynn's group of Christian-hating communists is still shockingly silent on this issue. My surprise-ometer? Let's just say it ain't "pegged."

Get yours now, as they're only available in a limited run before Christmas.

Yes, it's officially printed by order of the State Department, on the taxpayer dime.

But as you've probably guessed, some of the details I'm mentioning here are adjusted, ever so slightly.

In celebration of Christmas, Global Publishing Solutions (GPS) is offering a limited edition of the 2009 Churches in America Wall Calendar. This 12-month calendar is perfect for Christian outreach efforts, as well as office and event giveaways.

Barry Lynn, infamous and oft-derided Church-State separator? Missing in action, just as expected.

(h/t mikey_hates_everything—I know the feeling, incidentally.)

Update: Ron of Isophorone Blog suggests that we use Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's Adobe Photoshop™ to come up with our own official State Department calendars. Collect 'em, trade 'em—I'm firing up my handy-dandy copy of Photoshop as we speak.

Update: "Muslim Murderers*" in America. You know you want to pick a copy up today! Continue reading »

Such Culture: Free Vacation for the Poor Not "Luxurious" Enough

I mean, what else would you expect to have developed from a distinctly Scandinavian culture of pure entitlement?

THE HAGUE, 17/07/08 - Five jobless families that were given a free holiday from their municipality have returned prematurely from the outing. One of the reasons was that the camp-site was not found luxurious enough, local newspaper Tubantia reports.

The five families with children are unemployed and therefore have little money. Losser municipality offered them the opportunity to stay for free for a week at De Holenberg camp-site in the village of Schaik. Within three days, however, they returned disappointed to Losser.

The camp-site did not meet expectations, according to Tubantia. One of the families even phoned the municipality from Schaik to complain that the log cabins they were accommodated in were cold and damp. The municipality then fetched the families by taxi and brought them home.

Tubantia adds that lack of luxury was not the only reason for the aborted trip. "Quarrelling among themselves, language problems [Ed.:—Think "The Religion Of Peace," I'm betting.] and being reminded of refugee camps caused tensions in the group," the newspaper reports, suggesting that the campers were ex-asylum seekers.

Seriously. Don't like the "free" vacation that the employed in the area paid for you to go on? How's bout showing yourself back to whatever squatter's paradise distinguished nation you came from?

Of course, this being the Dutch, I'm sure more blame is currently being placed on the uncaring and cruel townspeople than on the ingrates that were so displeased with their free trip.

It must be today's topic, but I'll say it again for the record: Ahhhhhh, Diversity!
