Daily Dictator

Life under dictatorship is constantly being lauded as virtuous, pure, and wholesome. Mostly, this type of coverage emanates from the State-controlled press, but on occasion, it is repeated by fellow-travellers from the West. The reality, however, almost never matches the image portrayed by the propagandists.

In my continuing quest to illustrate that we in America are still not under an evil BushCoRovian dictatorship, allow me to present this glimpse into an actual dictatorial world:

Pyongyang, the Wealthiest City in North Korea.

*Wow! That "being lauded" blog is about as anti-American as you can be without opening hostilities!
I, for one, can never figure how people - blanketed in the freedom of democracy - can conclude that dictatorships are somehow utopian & benevolent in their designs.
These same people somehow believe that the most powerful AND benevolent nation on this Earth cannot be trusted to wield our potential wisely.
I think that sums up a good definition for "crackpot". :-)

*Hapkido,

Yeah, songun-blog is perhaps one of the funniest blogs in the entire blogging world, though probably not for the reasons Songun expects.

For additional amusement, be sure to check out http://juchegirl.blogspot.com/ - she hasn't updated in almost a year, but her archives are *priceless*

:-)

Regards,
Brian
