The London daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat has reported that Italian parliamentarian Daniela Santa Naschi has received a death threat following her statement that the Koran does not require Muslim women to wear the veil. The written threat, sent from Britain, included a photo of slain Dutch movie producer Theo van Gogh, who was murdered in 2004 by an Algerian immigrant for his film Submission which was perceived as anti-Islamic.

*hapkido: we meet at the stangest places!! yeah, these people are truly fucked up...and i don't like to use profanity in my writing but it is the most apt word...i just posted about a sculpture depicting a pregnant teenager nailed to a cross in Christ-like fashion being displayed in, of all places, Copenhagen. Haven't yet heard the reports of the Christian riots and outrage.
