Always Watching the All-Seeing Eye

The Great Hezbullah Expansion?

I'm on the wires this morning, and am not seeing anything dramatic yet. Could the Great Hezbullah Expansion be a big bust? "Oui" shall see!

"Oui, we will surrender at the earliest convenience."

Update: Maybe THIS is what they were talking about, and it was lost in translation:

Lebanese opposition supporters hold card boards making a huge Lebanese flag in the tent camp erected by Hezbollah and their allies during the 38th day of an open-ended protest to try and force the resignation of Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Saniora in central Beirut, Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007. Shaking. In. My. Boots.

Update: Is this the brave new world that Hezbullah is charting?

Senior Hezbollah official Huseein al-Khalil (R), opposition leader and former Lebanese Prime Minister Omar Karami (C) and Christian opposition leader Michel Aoun sit during an opposition meeting in Rabiyeh near Beirut January 8, 2007. Lebanon's opposition on Monday threw its weight behind the main labour union's call for a sit-in on Tuesday, breathing new life into a five-week long campaign to topple the government and promised more protests. A sit-in? Roadblocks? Smell. My. Phear.

Update: Welp, there you have it, folks. I'm here wrapping up my day, which is about 8 hours behind Lebanon's day, and so far, this is all I have to show for it:

-cheep cheep-

It looks to me like this story, as Jeha suggested, is a bust. Go team!
