I can now comfortably say that I hate the Republican party. Electing the "Same-ol-same" leadership to the Congress? Why? So we can continue to re-defeat ourselves to oblivion?

This is getting ridiculous, and it's obvious that the RNC has lost its last clue. Can we please start replacing that pile of useless, spineless idiots with one of the more conservative alternatives yet? I mean, look at what our new Chairman-elect is already saying:

Sen. Mel Martinez, President Bush's choice to become chairman of the Republican National Committee, said his goal will be to undo the election damage done by the border-enforcement-first message of most Republicans -- which he called "harshness only."

Mel, you don't speak for me. And apparently, you don't speak for certain other conservative bloggers, either! (see Blogs of War for the complete list, folks. The RNC is way off base here, and if they don't figure it out soon, they're going to be doomed to even greater defeat in '08!)
