Daily Dictator

I'm not going to let this disasterous mid-term election get me down. After all, ol' Track Suit Fidel is still almost ready to knock on death's door!

Anti-Castro activists carry a sculpture of Cuban leader Fidel Castro during a ceremony to destroy it in Little Havana, Miami, November 8, 2006. Cuban exiles tossed a giant sculpture of Castro's head into a garbage truck in a mock burial of the ailing Cuban leader in Miami's Little Havana district. The Cuban-American community persuaded artist Daniel Edwards, who created the controversial sculpture, to bring it to Miami to be destroyed rather than display it in Central Park, New York, as previously planned. Here is what a handful of random people think about this article. But first, the fine print:
The opinions expressed here, even where approved for display, do not necessarily reflect the opinions of this website, the management, or any other entity or organization, with the exception of the Vast Zionist Conspiracy. Those opinions we represent in style, yo. Please keep the language in these comments clean, as this is intended to be a family-friendly, work-friendly website. Comments not compliant with this policy will be edited for content where necessary. Abusive or otherwise illegal comments will be reported to the proper authorities, up to and including the aforementioned Vast Zionist Conspiracy. In other words, don't take yourself so seriously, folks. We're all here to discuss the news, and more importantly, to have fun. Now go get yourself into some OCD treatment program—you obviously need it if you actually read all of this mess.

*Hey, what makes it so disasterous? Both sides are crooks and now they have about equal power. This way, neither side can do much damage.

*That's a good point, and thanks very much for the encouragement, P.C.! I'm mostly upset that George Allen didn't get re-elected, as I thought he was doing a fairly good job as the Commonwealth's more conservative Senator... Other than that, I look forward to planning our triumphant return in '08!

:-)

Regards,
Brian
