Obama: Treasonous Behaviour?
What has been the mantra of Obama during this election campaign? Come on, say it with me.

He even faced off with his fellow socialists Democrups Democrats claiming that Sen Clinton's plan for Iraq was fool-hardy and unsatisfactory due to the criminal and illegal nature of the war on terror campaign in Iraq.
But now, it seems, that as a senator, he has used his office to go over the head of the President of the US to dictate international policy and place himself in the seat of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces.

And this was even confirmed by the Obama administration. He had already stepped over the line when he acted as President of the US when he travelled Europe and the Mid-East trying to dictate policy to those respective leaders.
Isn't it high time that President Bush and his Administration put their foot down and at LEAST call him out on this?
[Update: via Ace of Space] It might appear that this story was a fabrication of an Iraqi who has a bit too much to smoke. But then, I would not put anything passed this administration to "keep up the image" no matter how cruddy someone is.
WHILE campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence.
According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.
"He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington," Zebari said in an interview.
Obama insisted that Congress should be involved in negotiations on the status of US troops - and that it was in the interests of both sides not to have an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration in its "state of weakness and political confusion."
