Nice target

...the IDF should enjoy using this sign, placed on the Lebanese side of the Israel-Lebanon border by some young boys, for some good target practice. It's nice to know that, to the local population, Condoleeza Rice = Israel. It's also nice to note that this is somewhat more flattering than her previous appearance in Beirut.

Expect to see more photographs of this poster soon. I'm sure it'll be a hit with the resident photographers. (I can't wait to get a better angle of it. I want to know who the little guy hiding behind her is!!)

Lebanese boys hang a large caricature poster mocking U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, as two Lebanese soldiers look on in the background, on the Lebanese-Israeli border fence at Fatima Gate near the border village of Kfar Kila, southern Lebanon, Wednesday Oct. 4, 2006. Lebanese army troops prevented a group of Hezbollah supporters Wednesday from reaching the border with Israel to stage a protest, witnesses said. [Ed: excellent news, I think...] Soldiers recently deployed in the border town of Kfar Kila stopped buses carrying about 100 Hezbollah supporters, mostly young boys, who were traveling to the nearby Fatima Gate border fence with Israel to stage a demonstration. The troops told the demonstrators they could not go further and blocked the road with two armored personnel carriers. The protest came as Rice was on her way to Israel from Egypt.
