From the looks of this visit, we might be in for a bit of fun.

I'm having problems logging into my alma mater's LexisNexis gateway to verify, but from what I can tell, somebody from a group called "Political Research Associates" has been searching the famed news database for articles related to "Dhimmi," and ended up at Snapped Shot via this article.

Wouldn't you know it, but a quick visit to their official website reveals something quite... revealing:

Protip: Stalin was a "progressive changemaker," too.

Seeing how we here at Snapped Shot are what you'd typically call "the Right"—scare quotes and all—this could be quite interesting.

If you happen to be hitting this site from PRA, and want to know more about what you've found here, don't hesitate to send me a note. I'm always happy to discuss things in the most calm and rational way possible.

I'm here... for you, quietly doing my solemn duty as your average Right-wing bogeyman.

Update: Non-functional LexisNexis link here, for your reference.

Here's more info on the PRA, courtesy David Horowitz' DiscoverTheNetworks.

Here is what a handful of random people think about this article. But first, the fine print:
The opinions expressed here, even where approved for display, do not necessarily reflect the opinions of this website, the management, or any other entity or organization, with the exception of the Vast Zionist Conspiracy. Those opinions we represent in style, yo. Please keep the language in these comments clean, as this is intended to be a family-friendly, work-friendly website. Comments not compliant with this policy will be edited for content where necessary. Abusive or otherwise illegal comments will be reported to the proper authorities, up to and including the aforementioned Vast Zionist Conspiracy. The Management cannot and will not be held responsible for commenters making a spectacle of themselves, even if The Management are the said commenters in question. In other words, don't take yourself so seriously, folks. We're all here to discuss the news, and more importantly, to have fun. Now go get yourself into some OCD treatment program—you obviously need it if you actually read all of this mess.

*a "progressive think tank" that monitors rightwing extremism, or what it terms "the threat posed to human rights by oppressive and authoritarian movements and trends in the United States."

Yep. Sounds like Brian to me. A conservative-like person who only wants to institute authoritarian rule and oppress humans. Because, that is what Conservatism means, right?

Unlike liberals who only want to take away every right our constitution has given us.

"While attacks on human rights can come from any direction," says PRA, "it is the political Right that ... uses misleading terms such as 'parental rights' and 'personal responsibility' to oppose movements and organizations that promote tolerance and equality.

Them darn parental rights always getting in the way of tolerance and equality. And the audacity (of hope) to require personal responsibility of people. That is just intolerant and authoritarian of Conservatives.

Brian, you should be proud.
