Now, let's get out a calculator and see what us Islamophobes are up against.
There are an estimated 1.2 BILLION Muslims in the world today. The poll mentioned above only represents "moderate" Muslims living in a free, Western society. I think one can safely claim that in Islamic societies, the results would be much higher.
So, using the very conservative numbers from this poll:
Of the world-wide population, at least 84,000,000 Muslims support the killing of innocent civilians to further the cause of Islam.
At least 384,000,000 Muslims believe killing in the name of Allah is justified.
At least 480,000,000 Muslims want to live under the sharia.
The last one is tricky because it applies only to young Muslims. According to one study, 18.2% of Muslims in Britain were between the ages of 16 and 24 years old.
Using that statistic, approximately one third of that 18.2% when applied to the world-wide Muslim population equals 72,072,000 young Muslims who believe a person should be executed for leaving Islam. This is certainly an extremely low estimate based on a poll of Western Muslims. The percent of young Muslims - and all Muslims for that matter - would definitely be higher in Islamic societies.
