As of right now (10PM in the Eastern time zone), the web offering for "Mosques of America" has been pulled, instead sending readers to the following page:

What? Do you cretins "public servants" over in the State Department get all nervous when We, The People actually notice what you're up to?

By the People, for the People Muslims, indeed.

As of this morning, Barry Lynn's group of Christian-hating communists is still shockingly silent on this issue. My surprise-ometer? Let's just say it ain't "pegged."

Yes, it's officially printed by order of the State Department, on the taxpayer dime.

But as you've probably guessed, some of the details I'm mentioning here are adjusted, ever so slightly.

In celebration of Christmas, Global Publishing Solutions (GPS) is offering a limited edition of the 2009 Churches in America Wall Calendar. This 12-month calendar is perfect for Christian outreach efforts, as well as office and event giveaways.


Barry Lynn, infamous and oft-derided Church-State separator? Missing in action, just as expected.

Update: Ron of Isophorone Blog suggests that we use Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's Adobe Photoshop™ to come up with our own official State Department calendars. Collect 'em, trade 'em—I'm firing up my handy-dandy copy of Photoshop as we speak.

Other ideas? We could always take the serious approach, of course, and postulate what a publication printed by the U.S. government with the intent of proselytizing to Christians would look like. Or any other (non-PROTECTED) religion, for that matter.

This pandering sh*t makes me sick.
Here are some of the other government paid productions:
Jazz Appreciation Month - The CD features a wide variety of “roots music” by individuals and communities — from the Atlantic to the Pacific and down to the Caribbean.

Earth Day 2008 poster - a stunning full-color, two-sided poster in support of the International Year of the Reef 2008.

American Roots Music CD[/b] - The Bureau of International Information Programs (IIP) is pleased to announce the launch of its first music CD, "American Roots Music," in collaboration with the Smithsonian Institution's Folkways Recordings. IIP embarked on this project at the suggestion of posts that wanted a product suitable for gift-giving to host country contacts. If this initial project is successful, IIP intends to collaborate with Smithsonian Folkways Recordings on additional CDs, including youth-oriented musical productions. The "American Roots Music" CD carries 20 tracks for a total of 67 minutes.

Yeah, nothing like pandering. Hmm, nothing about how whites changed and bettered the world. Would Sacagawea be noteworthy if it was not for white man's quest for knowledge and adventure and making people's lives better? I don't want to sound racist. I am not. But, these publications and this agency is only being one sided...........on a government dime.

*As luck would have it, the State Department - at "Dipnotes," its official blog - has invited the public to "Tell Us What You Think" about its "Social Media" efforts. Seems to me such a calendar would fit quite nicely into that category.
