Malignant Politician Infected with Kindly Brain Tumor

Alright, so that's probably not the kindest headline I could've come up with. What can I say? I spare no expense for the Swimmer, who has just been identified as diagnosed with (there goes that knee-jerk reactionary-ism again) a malignant brain tumor:

BOSTON (AP) - Sen. Edward M. Kennedy say he has a malignant brain tumor.

Doctors for the Massachusetts Democrat say tests conducted after Kennedy suffered a seizure this weekend show a tumor in his left parietal lobe. His treatment will be decided after more tests but the usual course includes combinations of radiation and chemotherapy.

The 76-year-old senator has been hospitalized in Boston since Saturday, when he was airlifted from Cape Cod after a seizure at his home.

By the way, I'm not being serious with any sort of vitriol here. Unlike the compassionate sorts over at The Huffington Post, for instance. While I don't like Ted Kennedy by any stretch of the imagination, I'd never wish ill on him.

Just in case you're wondering if this is what "conservatives" think of Mr. Kennedy's medical situation, please refer to the list below. If you came here thinking that all conservatives are scoundrels, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

*Every other post on the first 2 pages got my blood boiling. This one, on the other hand, brightens up my day a little.

This means he'll be off the senate, right? Whether or not he lives?

*Actually, I wish it were benign. Then I could quote my favorite political put-down, from a Member of Parliament upon news that Spencer Churchill --- Winston's son --- underwent successful surgery to remove a benign growth:

"'Tis a pity: they removed the only part of him that isn't malignant."

*Now, Now.
while funny let us try and be respectful. I mean, it is pretty much a death sentence for him. I have a friend who's mother also has tumors in her brain and she is a fairly young woman and her expected span past surgery is not long.

Let us save the death wishes for those who really deserve it... Al-Queda and Islamic radicals and illegals and their supporters.
