Always Watching the All-Seeing Eye

Happy New Year's, Y'all!

Fresh from the it seemed like a good idea at the time department:

Fortunately for the rider, things could've ended worse. Hopefully, y'all are smart enough not to try this one at home. ;-)

Bonus Time
Heh, why not throw in a freebie—It's New Year's, after all! Here's a nice, relaxing resort spa that you'd probably want to pass on:

Seems like a whole lot of effort to go through for a prank, but near as I can tell, it's totally worth it. Whatever you do, don't pass this one along to the folks at Massanutten—Don't need them getting any fresh ideas or anything!

Such Moderate Behaviour

Once again, I get a good chance to illustrate for you what it looks like when a society raises its young knowing nothing but hatred and death. You can hem and haw about it all you want, but the fact of the matter is that these children are raised by their parents to behave like this. Until the "Palestinian" people (Arab muslims, that is) get to the point where they can teach their children something other than death and hatred towards the Jewish people, there will be no peace in the region.

With children, it's all about the example you set, isn't it?

Update: It would seem that this protest is much ado over nothing—The "victims," who are "stuck" because Egypt will not open the Rafah border crossing, are stuck there because they refuse to cross into Israel first. Guess whose border is open for business, then?

I don't call 'em the "perpetual victims" for nothing, folks.

Update x2: The Elder always has more. That's why he's so awesome! [Ed.:—Heh, got that fixed. Sorry for making you tilt your heads to the right for the past couple of days...]

Epic Fail Protest

Dunno about you, but I don't plan on being the one to tell these folks that Israel didn't have anything to do with the execution of Saddam Hussein. Well, unless you consider fanciful conspiracy theories to be real, that is.

I sure hope they remembered to bring the bean dip. More festivities beyond the fold. Continue reading »

When In A Pinch

Don't have any of the recently-deceased handy in order to host yet another dramatic, media-driven funeral? Don't let that stop you:

Like Playing Clue, only IRL

I don't know if any of y'all remember those ancient things called "board games," but there was a fantastic one that we used to play in the Ledbetter household when I was growing up called "Clue." In case you've never heard of it, check out the details here. And if you haven't played it, it really is a blast for the whole family.

So anyway, what reminds me of this little memory is Aussie Dave's latest little pastime, wherein we get to guess which account of nefarious activities in the "Palestinian" terror-tories is correct. Here's the latest—see if you can guess which one's accurate and then hop on over here for the answer:

Option 1:

Killed on a bypass road in Ni'lin
By an Israeli settler
With a car
Option 2:
21-year-old man
Killed on a bypass road in Ramallah
By a Jewish colonizer
With a car
Option 3:
25-year-old man
Killed on a bypass road in Qabiya
By an Israeli settler

Which one will it be?

Uninvolved Indeed

Here's a really amusing shot, courtesy Atlas. Of course, it's not entirely accurate to say that the UN is doing nothing in Africa:—They've got some things down to a science.

UNintentionally funny?

Just for the record, there's a really good chance—as in I'm 99.999999% sure—that the image is Photoshopped. I don't recall UN blue-helmets having big, bold "UN" text on them... or at least, not on the front.

It's still funny, though—even if it is totally fake.

Thus are the joys of modern technology.

That Dastardly Zionist Embargo

To those of you out there who think that Israel is somehow being unfair to the murderous thugs of the Gaza Strip, here's yet more proof that the terrorists are being somewhat less than honest. It's remarkable to me that, no matter how much evidence is given that the Hamas thugs are lying, there are still people who insist that they're the ones being oppressed. Remarkable!

For the record, disguising weapons as "humanitarian" aid is not an appropriate way for a civilised people to act:

A bag seized by the Israeli army is seen at an undisclosed location in this picture released December 30, 2007 by Israel's Defence Forces (IDF). The European Union on Sunday denied any connection to bags that Israel said were marked as containing EU aid "sugar" but actually filled with bomb-making chemicals bound for the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip. The Israeli army said on Saturday it seized 6.5 tonnes of potassium nitrate aboard a Palestinian truck travelling through the occupied West Bank en route to Gaza. Add to this all of the utterly false handwringing over other Israeli "humanitarian" outrages, and you've got yourself a pretty impressive picture of a hopelessly cruel enemy.

More on this latest indignation over at Soccer Dad's pad.
