Islamic Rage Boy Parody Roundup

The Results Are In!

The results have been judged by Rage Boy himself! You can read all about the results over here!

Wow, it's also good to see the insane wing of the blogosphere check in on this story. It's nice to see such intelligent people so eager to put all of their faith in a religion that "understands" women's rights so well. Oh wait, I meant "womyn's" rights.

I will add this: The American left's tendency to shoe-horn every last issue into absurd questions of "oppression" politics is doing more to harm the worldwide debate on terrorism than anything. Stop deluding yourselves: The world does not revolve solely around the notion that one has somehow been "oppressed." There really are bad guys out there who wish to do you harm:—Sinking into denial and self-blame is no way to respond.

With a face like this, who would've expected that the world's Photoshop experts would have all jumped in at once with their master craftiness. I'll be rounding up Rage Boy parodies here when I find them. Feel free to send them to me as well - just put the URL into my little comments doohickey here, and I'll post your parody here ASAP!

Here's my #1 so far. Let's see how long it takes for it to be knocked off by another one!

There's much more parody goodness following the fold! And if you recognise one of these as yours, be sure to sound off in the comments! Continue reading »

"Sir" Salman Rushdie: Day of RAGE Edition

Today's the day we've all been waiting for! I'll be documenting the worldwide rage from the Ummah here as photos come in, so be sure to check back every now and then!

VICTORY! It seems that Islamic Rage Boy is joining the anti-Rushdie festivities after all!

Kashmiri protesters shout slogans against British author Salman Rushdie and Britain during a protest in Srinagar June 22, 2007. Indian police in Srinagar used tear gas on Friday to disperse Kashmiri protesters who were denouncing a British knighthood for Rushdie, whose novel "Satanic Verses" outraged Muslims worldwide. REUTERS/Fayaz Kabli (INDIAN-ADMINISTERED KASHMIR)

Remember folks, these photos will be coming in all day long. I'll be doing my best to keep up with the flow, but be sure to keep checking back here and reloading every now and then for fresh fun and excitement!

This one is my pick for the day, so far! Hahahah!

In case you get bored, be sure to check out the growing collection of Serial Outrager Parodies, featuring our little friend above!

Status: As of 14:30 EDT, the hottest fires are burning in Pakistan and Kashmir and now, Londonistan. We've also seen a few pictures from Iran, and a brief mention of Indonesia as well, but no big protests so far.

Update: I think this comment, which was just posted to the Day Two thread, is the best:

BOO HOO HOO! MY WITTWE FEEWINGS ARE HURT!
the most tragic and really grave incident of this century... is attacks on a religion, directly or indirectly..the focus is just islaam..n the people who highlight and say about this fact are termed as fanatic..
the action starts from 9|11 attacks ,only blames with no evidences..it was definately a bad incident... but actions n just actions on islam..we can only protest and even if we try that..who doesnt want to sacrifice hislife for his religion and, what is the use of those eyes which cannot stop other devil's eye on his religion..that hand which cannot stop otheR attacking HAND....
to raise a voice for just is right on all religion..killing other person for self defence is not a crime in any relifion so how can defending one's religion is crime anywhere...
we are called as fanatist,terrOrorist...
we are attacked various times verbally or by different means.. we respect all religions...
still the topic is unrevealed to you...i m surprised..
the innumerable attacks... including the latest one.GREAT BRITIAN AWARDS SALNAN RUSHDI TILE OF SIR... AMAZING..FROM GREAT BRITAIN..
THE SAME PERSON WHICH HAS TO BE GIVEN PENALTY OR HANGED IS BEING AWARDED...yeah..forgiveness...only comes to muslims..our religion teaches love ANYONE for ALLAH AND HIS prophet, hatred for ALLAH AND HIS LAST BELOVED Prophet..
I HAVE NOT KNOWN AND HAVENT SEEN HIM BUT GOD IS EVIDENT I DONT EVEN WANT TO SEE HIM...I PRAY TO GOD I MAY NEVER SEE HIM.. AT MY PIOSITION ANY ONE WOULD SAY THIS..
WE MUSLIMS COULD HAVE ASKED FOR HIS PENALtY and killing for the devil's companion..but look at us we are just saying not to award him the title "sir'...can't we be granted as that ..y we are being treated like that..give me any example when a muslim Ruler has done this to any other reiligion AWRDING A PERSON WHO HAS ATTACKED OTHER RELIGION ???? still we are fanatist..
in the consequences..sir title would be seen as the most devilish title and people who have got this and will be given..if they would have love for their religion..which is obvious..would never accept it.. people respect other religions..
it is not the world matter... religion is not a personal matter now its for all....IF THIS IS WAY OF GETTING THE TITLE OF "SIR"USE BAD LANGUAGE FOR OHTER PROPHET AND GET A TITLE IS THE RULE????
we muslims are most respectful to other religions...but we dont have tolerance for wrongdoings. religion..
musilm's eyes brought in tears for years...
not an opology would work for it,a promise from all to all people never blame other religion, never use BAD WORDS FOR OTHER PROPHET,..and people who do this would be given penalTy,SEVERE PUNISHMENT just one law to practice,n peace, love for ALL....IT BRINGS TEARS OF BLOOD.....

WHAT SHOULD WE CALL THIS INCIDENT"REWARDING A DEVIL TITLE OF SIR" .THEN IT IS A TIME TO WAKEUP..N SEE HOW GREAT BRITAIN REWARD PEOPLE WHO ARE FANATIST AND TERRORIST..IS IT MY PERSONAL OPINION??? SEE,LOOK WITHOUT BEING BIASED..
I CANNOT EVEN SAY WHAT IF SOMEONES DOES TO UR RELIGION
N HE IS BEING WARDED LIKE THAT...??TO ME ITS EVEN VERY HURTING..BUT ONCE THE FINGER IS AT UR POSITION..U MIGHT HAVE WRUITTEN MORE THAT THAT... BUT MY IDEA IS NOT TO MAKE ANY ONE FURIOUS,MY BELIEVE IS THAT THE WORDS I HAVE WRITTEN MAYBE MY WAY OF CLOSER TO ALLAH'S PROPHET,HIS LOVE..AS IT IS WRITTEN THERE
WHEN HAZRAT ABRAHIM{A.s}WAS BROUGHT TO FIRE ,TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE THERE WAS A BIRD WHO HAD A WATER IN HIS BEAK TO EXTINGUISH FIRE,HE SAID I MIGHT NOT ABLE TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE,BUT WHEN ON THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT GOD WOULD ASK FOR MY WORK? WHERE WAS I? I CAN ANSWER I HAVE MY CONTRIBUTION TOO...
SEE THIS IS A SMALL DROP..BUT REALLY THE DROPS MAKE SEA..ONE DROP BY ALL OF US WOULD STOP SUCH EVILS FOREVER....

Lay off the caffeine, good sir. It'd do your heart some good.

Words of Wisdom from Capitol Hill

Howdy, Capitolists. Glad to see you've finally noticed this thread. Please feel free to continue this conversation over here, if you'd like. All input welcome, bring on the flames—I'm all set for a barbeque on this drizzly day!

America, this is what the idiots that we send to Washington think of you. (Thanks to JDawg for posting this link over in Michelle's little world)

Notice that you must be logged in from a Capitol Hill (i.e., Congressional) computer to post to this website)

Yes, the Metro in July. Honestly, is there some kind of charter that says that you must be 50 lbs overweight, dress in clothes that don't fit, and reek to high hell from all the sweat generated by walking five feet before you are allowed to tour this city. Also, don't flock like lemmings to the one escalator that is working, walk up the stairs, to the left at all times, and don't crowed around the doors, the rest of us would kike to get on as well.

Insulting the people who come to tour our nation's capital as being a bunch of smelly, overweight morons? Classy.

1.) The real problem is our foreign policy [f**king s**t] up for farmers in central Mexico; Do the anti-immigrant folks really all think immigrants want to leave their hometowns? their whole family? all of their culture [Ed.: They seem to be taking that with them, idiot. You would know this if you ever left Washington for a freakin' minute!] and their history and make a dangerous, expensive trip up here just for the dubious luxury of scrubbing your toilet and picking your vegetables? costing you money, my a**. The ugly little secret is that by and large Americans want things convenient and cheap and they don't want to work too hard for them. You don't want people to come to the US for jobs? fine. Put in place some decent trade agreements that don't [f**k] people over.2.) Why do all the fattest tourists pick the hottest month of the year to come to DC? Put the cheeseburger down! YES, you will have to walk everywhere. YES, you should have started training for this before you left Ohio, or Missouri, or whatever small midwestern town you came from. And lest I for get WALK LEFT, STAND RIGHT. wow, i feel better.

Staffers in Congress hate tourists, in case you haven't noticed.

(More meaty Congressional goodness can be found beyond the break.) Continue reading »

Daily Dictator

Does anyone else find it curious to see that Fidel Castro couldn't be bothered to show up for the funeral of the "unofficial" First Lady of Cuba, yet he has somehow found time to blog about it?

Here's a picture from today:

A man reads a newspaper in a street of Havana, Thursday, June 21, 2007. Cuba's President Fidel Castro paid tribute to his late sister-in-law, Vilma Espin Guillois, who died Monday of an undisclosed illness, writing that she 'never backed down from any danger' and that her example is 'more necessary than ever.' Espin, wife of acting Cuban President Raul Castro, was for decades considered the first lady of the island's revolution. (AP Photo/ Javier Galeano)

But last week, at Vilma's wake, he was a no-show:

Cuba's acting president Raul Castro, center left in brown, and an unidentified grandson, left in blue, face a photograph of Raul Castro's late wife Vilma Espin Guillois, one of the communist nation's most politically powerful women, at a public homage set up at Jose Marti Memorial in Havana's Revolution Plaza, Tuesday, June 19, 2007. Guillois died June 18, 2007, at age 77. Guillois' civilian and military decorations are displayed below her photograph. (AP Photo/Prensa Latina,Ismael Francisco)

Personally, I still think he's deader than a doornail. Maybe his body double hasn't finished learning Español yet?

Do you need that Heeling Touch?

Okay, I'm not exactly sure what to make of this one, but I ran across it while searching through the AFP archives for photos of Rage Boy.

By all means, if you're easily offended, or otherwise prefer not to see crudely-drawn posters of ambiguous body parts and/or organs, do NOT click on this link. It could be NSFW, depending on what you think it is!

For those of you who are brave enough to click the link, I'd be delighted to hear your suggestions as to what we are looking at.

"Sir" Salman Rushdie: Day Four

Salman Rushdie's knighthood: The Gift that Keeps On Giving.

A Kashmiri girl looks at an effigy of British author Salman Rushdie before the start of a protest in Srinagar June 21, 2007. Angry protesters took to the streets in Srinagar on Thursday to denounce a British knighthood for Rushdie, whose novel "Satanic Verses" outraged Muslims worldwide. The placard on the effigy reads, "Hang apostate Salman Rushdie". REUTERS/Fayaz Kabli (INDIAN ADMINISTERED KASHMIR)

This effigy is the closest I've seen so far. Of course, I'm still anticipating worldwide joy from the Inflamed Ummah (tm) tomorrow, but until then, this is still money.

Comments Back Online! (Whew!)

I'm taking the comments feature offline for a few hours, until I have a chance to make a small backend change later on today. My apologies if you're dying to share your thoughts with us -- you're welcome to come back this evening and try again!

Update: Okay, it's fixed, thanks to my trusty BlackBerry, and lemme tell ya, editing the source code to your blog software via SureType is not the most pleasant experience!

If you're technically inclined, or you run Serendipity on your blog, you might be interested to see what kind of change needed to be made.
