Always Watching the All-Seeing Eye

Hello, Reuters!

Oops, excuse me. Make that, "Hello, Thompson Reuters!"

As Charles Johnson noted earlier today, someone at Reuters headquarters is tracking stories about Fadel Shana. Looks like they're checking us out as well:

192.165.213.18 - - [18/Apr/2008:07:45:47 -0500] "GET /archives/1891-Palestinian-Fauxtography.html HTTP/1.1" 200 30432 "http://technorati.com/posts/ZDvm6yE6ZaL3U%2FgTqwkxmB9LA8k7yDPMc8AcgY9510c%3D" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; InfoPath.1)"

192.165.213.18 - - [18/Apr/2008:09:46:41 -0500] "GET /archives/1891-Palestinian-Fauxtography.html HTTP/1.1" 200 31848 "http://littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; InfoPath.1)"

I'd never consider two whole visits to be a "spike" on the order that Charles usually sees, but y'all are always welcome here anyway! Oh, and if you see anything that I've gotten obviously wrong, feel free to clue me in anytime.

For background on Reuters IP space, see here.

Here is what a handful of random people think about this article. But first, the fine print:
The opinions expressed here, even where approved for display, do not necessarily reflect the opinions of this website, the management, or any other entity or organization, with the exception of the Vast Zionist Conspiracy. Those opinions we represent in style, yo. Please keep the language in these comments clean, as this is intended to be a family-friendly, work-friendly website. Comments not compliant with this policy will be edited for content where necessary. Abusive or otherwise illegal comments will be reported to the proper authorities, up to and including the aforementioned Vast Zionist Conspiracy. The Management cannot and will not be held responsible for commenters making a spectacle of themselves, even if The Management are the said commenters in question. In other words, don't take yourself so seriously, folks. We're all here to discuss the news, and more importantly, to have fun. Now go get yourself into some OCD treatment program—you obviously need it if you actually read all of this mess.

*As a Thomson employee, now one of 50,000 Thomson-Reuters employees, I'm excited, if a little drunk on power, about going to work on Monday with the capacity to raise the blood pressure of my favorite bloggers by my simple presence on their sites. I used to be simply a goof reading blogs at work, but now I really am SOMEBODY! Log my page views. FEAR me. Mwahahahaha.

*SS,

The only way you're going to raise my blood pressure is if you happen to be in the legal department! ;-)

Regards,
Brian
