Always Watching the All-Seeing Eye

More Enemy Embeds

Despite the mainstream media's promotion that al-Sadr's Mahdi Army is inflicting major casualties on American forces, the Iraqi and coalition forces are also doing their damage. How do we know this? Say thank you to the embedded photog agents.

From one location, we can find at least two photographers for one agency that shalt not be named and al-Reuters as well. Thanks to Ali Abu Shish from Reuters and Alaa al-Marjani from (cough, cough). Again, odd finding the two most pro-embed media organizations at the same event.

And, from what can be seen from this photo here, we are not doing that much damage to them as one would think. Note the fat bellies and nice black wood coffins. And not to mention the ability to go out in broad, open daylight without fear. Is that lace I see wrapped around the bodies in later photos??? Awwww.
Here, Marjani calls the hole-digger a boy, while Shish calls him a man.

And does this photo and this photo remind you of any other clashing regions? Makes you wonder how this little girl was caught in between the firefight and ended up naked and with injuries to her ankles. Isn't this considered an abomination if a girl is seen by men not of her family.... let alone naked?

Here is what a handful of random people think about this article. But first, the fine print:
The opinions expressed here, even where approved for display, do not necessarily reflect the opinions of this website, the management, or any other entity or organization, with the exception of the Vast Zionist Conspiracy. Those opinions we represent in style, yo. Please keep the language in these comments clean, as this is intended to be a family-friendly, work-friendly website. Comments not compliant with this policy will be edited for content where necessary. Abusive or otherwise illegal comments will be reported to the proper authorities, up to and including the aforementioned Vast Zionist Conspiracy. In other words, don't take yourself so seriously, folks. We're all here to discuss the news, and more importantly, to have fun. Now go get yourself into some OCD treatment program—you obviously need it if you actually read all of this mess.

*Heheh, might want to check your links, Sir. :-)

I usually post them by going to news.yahoo.com and searching "News Photos" for the photographer's name. The links that come back from the search results there are a bit more stable than the ones passed through their RSS feeds.

For "permanent" archives, go to: AP Images, GettyImages, and ANP.

Hope this helps, and if you need help looking the originals up, gimme a holler.

Regards,
Brian
