Musical Interlude

I'm a bit tied up this morning, but hope to start getting caught up with what's going on today whenever lunchtime gets here. Until then, here's another peek into the life of Brian—The song "spiral" from L'arc~en~Ciel's 2008 release, "Kiss." Can you imagine how much peppier the world would be if this song was your standard-issue hold music?

I've posted a pretty awesome drum cover, of course, so as to not offend Sony's copyright enforcers. This is done according to Brian's newfound Rule #1 of the Internet: Never Anger Corporations!

The opinions expressed here, even where approved for display, do not necessarily reflect the opinions of this website, the management, or any other entity or organization, with the exception of the Vast Zionist Conspiracy. Those opinions we represent in style, yo. Please keep the language in these comments clean, as this is intended to be a family-friendly, work-friendly website. In other words, don't take yourself so seriously, folks. We're all here to discuss the news, and more importantly, to have fun. Now go get yourself into some OCD treatment program—you obviously need it if you actually read all of this mess.

*As much as you hate 311, Bri.. the musical aspects of this song are VERY much like them. ;-) The vocals of course are not even remotely the quality of Nick Hexum's unfortunately. What the hell is that slant saying anyway?

*Rooster had an interesting idea (offline) here:—Let's see if we can turn this into a regular battle of the bands feature.

Here's how it would work, if y'all wanted to do this:—I'll post a video of some music that I happen to be listening to (either on a slow day, or perhaps on a regular schedule), and y'all post links to YouTube music that's "similar" to (but, in your opinion, better) the song I posted.

I will, of course, be doing the same to the links you post, which will hopefully make this a very interactive thing.

Let's see how far we can take this. Rooster, you're up first!

B.
