'We didn't know enough about Hezbullah'

This is all I need to know!
The Jerusalem Post is reporting what some bloggers have been saying for months: Israel was ill-prepared for its recent conflict with Hezbullah.

Me? All I need to know about Hezbullah is that they are cowards who hide behind civilians. No amount of arguing can get me to look past that point.

Hezbullah is a terrorist group. As a result, it has zero claim to legitimacy, and as such, should be given zero tolerance. You do not hold negotiations with someone who wants to kill you and your people.

As an aside, when someone tells me that Hezbullah is somehow a justified group, reacting to either Israeli oppresion or Lebanese inaction—I ask this: If the people of southern Lebanon are happier having Iran or Syria rule over them than the lawfully-elected Lebanese government, then why don't they move to Iran or Syria??

It's not like they're being forced to stay in the line of fire.
