Tiresome Choice of Alignment

For some strange reason, I get the feeling that I've seen this before:

Palestinian children watch an Israeli soldier during a routine patrol in the divided West Bank city of Hebron, Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008. (AP Photo/Nasser Shiyoukhi)

Once again I am left to wonder why the Associated Press feels so compelled to allow terrorist propaganda such as this to be transmitted across its service. And why the "American" newspapers that subscribe to it feel so reluctant to question the fact that so much of the material sent to them is nothing but such propaganda.

Would we have won World War II with the press corps that we have today? I have my doubts.

Now go get yourself into some OCD treatment program—you obviously need it if you actually read all of this mess.

*Wow. what a great photo. Pure of news, story, info, drama, life........

yeah, that was sarcasm.

Hey look. Is that a photog in the background? It can't be a pally despite the pro-pally scarf around his neck. Look at his hat and coat and the way he is standing. That is a photog for sure.

Hmmmm...you think they could be any more blatant than showing a pic of an Israeli soldier and his gun pointing at what appears to be a child's head. Nice. Have they not learned their blistering lesson from their coverage of Lebanon's battle?

We need a commission made up of a person from each state nominated by the governors to FINE news agencies when they show blatantly biased news reports. Sort of like the Commissioner of the NFL. When ever an NFL player committs a blatant offense, the Commissioner fines the player. (yeah, bit tongue in cheek.. but)

I know there are media watchdogs, but they are impotent or tied to the media they are trying to monitor. Give them teeth.
