Anti-Annapolis Protests: Day 2?

I'm not seeing much activity on the wires in terms of anti-Annapolis protests today. I'd say this is related to it, though: At the funeral for the man that was killed in the West Bank protests yesterday, "clashes" broke out between Fatah goons security forces and Hamas goons mourners.

Of course, I'll keep you posted if anything does manage to show up today.

Palestinians carry a wounded man during clashes with security forces loyal to President Mahmoud Abbas at a funeral ceremony for Hisham Baradei, in the West Bank city of Hebron, Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007. The 36-year-old Baradei was shot in the chest by Palestinian police during a demonstration against the U.S. sponsored Annapolis meeting in the West Bank city of Hebron on Tuesday. Notice the black flags of jihad being hoisted yet again. The green flags are officially that of the Hamas party, though the design is based off of the flag of Dar al-Islam (PDF).

*In the main picture, note the guy on the right appears to be smoking a cigarette as he carries his "wounded" buddy. (scare-quotes stay until I see the gaping hole in his chest).

*Yup, I sure did notice that! Equally amusing is the way that the "wounded" guy is being sure to watch where they're carrying him... ;-)

Brian
