Israel "Strikes" Hamas Police Station?

The IDF has been blamed for bombing a Hamas "police station." I don't have any details yet, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least to learn that the "police station" in question was being used as a shelter by a handful of Hamas terrorists. Either way, the crocodile tears are definitely out in force:

Palestinian relatives mourn after seeing the bodies of four Hamas security force officers in hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007. Israeli aircraft hit a police station in southern Gaza late on Tuesday, Palestinians said, and rescue workers said at least three people were killed.(AP Photo)

I'll be keeping an eye on this to see if any more information shows up. We'll see if my initial cynicism is on target here or not, pun intended.

Update: (31-Oct) The stage-managed funerals are underway, it would seem:

Ahem, far be it from me to point out that the above are not traditionally the most reliable sources of information available...

An Air of Levity

(... and Photoshop!) Why let all of that excess cynicism go to waste? Thanks to reader Kevin for helping us see the lighter side of Hamas' misfortune. (Keeping in mind, of course, that Hamas is a bloodthirsty group of killers.)

"Hamas man wins Miss America Award. News at 11."

This next one seems oddly familiar, though I can't quite put my finger on why... Thanks to Cletus for sending it along.

A match made in heck?

*Pallywood may have hardened me. The photographic lies during the wars in Lebanon or Palestine may have made me cold. But I don't buy any of this anymore.

This one is as believable as the ones you posted - in my book.

*Haha thanks putting me up there! But even if this is a true scenario (which I'd bet good money it's not), who the heck cares? It's as sad as hearing that England killed some Nazi policemen in 1941.

Too bad, so sad. Guess ya shouldn't have let a relative to a terrorist, huh, Hamas dude? I hope you never get bored of exposing these guys, Brian.

*Right Kevin. It is getting tiresome hearing about this from the media all the time. It is like they don't think that Hamas ARE THE BAD GUYS who deserve to be killed. And like it or not, more of them are killed by their own "bretheren" than by Israelis over last few years.

I find it utterly amazing that Israel has kept silent about Hamas operating on its borders in a governmental fashion. They should have been wiped out long ago. But then, Israel government is trying to give away its cultural heritage, its reason for being, to people who want to do nothing but destroy it and Israel.

This would be like us giving the Washington Monument, Plymouth Rock, or the National Battlefields to Iran.

Or, would be like giving away our border states to Mexico.
Oh... guess that has happened already.

*You gentlemen both raise some excellent points, which I will definitely explore upon in future events like this. It's along the same lines of my arguments against covering terrorist press conferences: it might be "newsworthy," but I can't for one cotton-pickin' second imagine the press giving as unlimited a platform to the KKK as they currently do to Palestinian thugs-who, incidentally, have been responsible for thousands of deaths more than the KKK could have ever dreamt of.

It boggles the mind. I don't think you'll have to worry about me becoming bored with this anytime soon for that very reason, Kev.

Thanks for taking the time to provide such helpful insights, guys! Be sure to keep it up!

V/r,
Brian

*dont think we are slighting you dear Brian. We are glad that you are bringing these kinds of things to light. We just get heart-sick that those proclaiming freedom to publish their photos.. sure do all they can to promote those trying to eliminate freedom and free peoples.
