Wow, if this isn't the most revolting bit of communist hero worship I've ever seen, I'd be hard-pressed to come up with a close second:

This 1958 file photo shows Argentine-born legendary revolutionary figure Ernesto "Che" Guevara in Caballete de Casas as he and Fidel Castro were preparing for their revolution. A lock of leftist revolutionary icon Ernesto "Che" Guevara's hair was sold for 100,000 dollars (70,000 euros) at auction late Thursday, Heritage Auction Galleries in Dallas, Texas said on its website.(AFP/File/Antonio Nunez Jimenez)


No word on what Ché's reaction to this newfound love is. Last I heard, he was a tad bit busy with other activities (h/t Val P.):
