I practically grew up in Fairfax County, moving here in '89. After a brief time away, we moved back here a handful of years back, and within the past couple of years, we have seen a dramatic decline in our quality-of-life up here, with many older areas being turned into illegal boardinghouses. Heck, we've even observed an increase in gang activity right down the street from us.
Enough's enough!
If any of you local readers have pictures of your area, and they look as bad as I know they do, I'd be delighted to start collecting them here. Annandale, Springfield, I know you're out there. I'm talking 'bout you here. It's high time that somebody got Gerry's attention on this issue, and whadda ya know, I just happen to know exactly where his corporate inbox is. Wink wink, nudge nudge.
As an aside, I promise that I'll keep your identity confidential to the best of my ability. I will need to request that you send the address or location that the photograph represents, in order to ensure that Gerry can't plead ignorance when presented with the evidence.
