The Religion of Peace (and Tolerance)

Here's a little hint as to how "tolerant" militant Islam is towards people of other faiths:

Oh, yeah, you said you were. Oh. Well.

Course, this also tells you what the Hindus went thru when Pakistan was formed. Millions were forced out of the new state. Many forcibly. The muslims were never told to leave India and many remain. However, the Hindus were told to leave Pakistan.

I am actually surprised to see that this carving has remained.

I have a question I just thought of. Would a carving or a statue of the same deity of a minor religion be allowed in the US? Would that finally get the Christians' and Jews' goat? Or would we again be tolerant to the extreme?

*Speaking of goat, Islam is a total ripoff of the Hindu religion anyways. Especially the part about the ritualistic animal sacrifices.

Not many people know that Muslims do animal sacrifices to their god, but they do.

I think, Islam is religion, that keeps rights things on right place, neither say idols as god, nor to a prophet as God. Such a religion, which say, God has image, and every image there is God, I just wonder, how people without knowing this religion, have just intolerance, hatred and enmity.
In fact, it is beautiful religion meant for peace and humanity, but unfortunately, it is misinterpted some peaople, both from within Islam and outside in other way.

I do belive, it othere religion, that all meant for humanity, must work together for global peacful society. Without any claim and blame..

Can you provide evidence to prove this? We already know the status muslims give non-muslims, especially Jews, within muslim countries. Jews are considered pigs.

How does this explain the utter deification of their muhammed? They hold him up as a god, if not more so, despite the despicable things he did. And, while I agree that the muslim religion does not worship idols, they do seem to worship death and a god that tells them to subdue and kill unbelievers.

Enmity? Big word from one who has trouble with english language. We may not be muslims who condemn the religion, but we do know about it. Many of its strongest detractors are former muslims. And many more have read the Quran and have shown, verse by verse, where it preaches hate, domination, conquest and murder.

By the way, our holy book tells us to love everyone. We tried. The muslim book tells its followers to subdue non-believers and kill those who won't submit (especially Jews). We of the west are not intolerant. Our nation was founded on tolerance. We have just got fed up with being ran over and with attempts to push us aside. We can only turn so many cheeks before our survival becomes threatened.

All religions are "meant" for peace and humanity. What other race would they be for? However, the muslim religion is only beautiful to those who truly submit to its rules and regulations. Even other muslims who stray from the purest and most devout reading of the Quran are called betrayers of the faith. How peaceful and beautiful is it to see the muslim virtue police arrest, beat, whip and even murder those people who are said to have violated the muslim's religious practices? Just how beautiful is it to videotape people's heads being sliced off slowly? Or to assassinate your own brethren for being in another muslim sect?

I have no idea what you just said with this? Are you saying that all religions are meant for humanity? Again... DUH !!! And, global peaceful society??!?! Sounds like you are talking about a one world religion. I am sorry, but that will not happen until after the Rapture of the Christian church.

Till then, I will continue to believe that my God is the one and only God who raised himself from the grave after 3 days and that the muslim God is a demon.
