I am the Average Joe. I am an Average White Male Christian American. I believe in freedom. I believe in defending freedom and protecting those unable to. I believe in democracy and federalism. I believe that those rights detailed in the US Constitution and the US Bill of Rights are for Americans alone. And those rights are inherent within us and not given to us by the paper it was written on. I believe that all Americans have the same rights based on their being human and that no one is greater or lesser than any other.
I am a biologist who specializes in salmon management who has turned to information technology. I am in my final semester of my second Masters degree. My first Masters was in Fisheries and my second will be in Management Information Systems. I believe in sound reasoned judgment that uses logic and common sense.
I believe in having a good time and pursuing those hobbies that make you happy. I also believe that anyone can be anything they want to be despite Michelle Obama's assertion that people should only go into community service because corporate jobs do not pay well.
